As a lover of plants, you learn to not just pay attention or tend to the leaves when something is wrong, but you must investigate the root system. No matter how many unhealthy leaves you remove, the problem will still continue and the entire plant could possibly die if you don’t understand what’s going on with the roots.

Keep your eyes and ears before the Lord to inquire how to pray during this time. The Word of God is full of strategy. The Lord  is the ultimate Commander and Chief. We are equipped to tear down evil works, but in order to do that, we must operate in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that comes from the Father in Heaven. Good fruit is a result of a good root system. Pray for others and don’t curse them. There’s so much judgement happening based on what is seen in the natural (the top part of the plant). It’s so much deeper than that!

As an educator, I’ve seen students go into race wars and viciously attack other students right before class started or during class time. They were hurting before they arrived at school. Most had seen senseless murder happen before their eyes and the injustice that took place by those in authority. Sometimes fights happened everyday throughout the day, and if I cursed every single child tearing down who they are, there would not have been a foundation to pour out the love of God. As I violently prayed, God gave a very specific strategy for every situation! The oil from the fire of the throne of God in heaven flowed down and out, and it literally brought transformation to individual students,  the classroom, families, and out into the neighborhood. I watched God “clean house” as some staff members left one by one. The power of prayer changes things when you are rightfully positioned in Him. It’s a win-win!

How are you using the platform God has given you? Our position is to seek His face first. Are you looking at social media more than your time with God? It’s in His face where we get our emotions in check.  We must pray for our nation! We must pray for each other!

Just like in the school system, we are not just called to pray, but to also do. Pray and do using wisdom and strategy from the Lord. Prayer in the power of the Holy Ghost can change things in an instant.

In the fullness of knowledge from the Lord, we must take a stand against injustice, walk  in love, and see through the eyes of discernment and wisdom. Stay rightfully positioned. May our hearts cry out to the Lord for justice, may the root system of evil be pulled up, and may God’s seeds, that yield good fruit, be planted in the holes left behind. Transition come forth!
