So much has happened this past year, and it’s important that we revisit who God is and what He has been saying. God has been very specific about getting us prepared to walk in the fullness of His destiny. Major truth is being exposed and tremendous freedom is taking place. DO NOT MISS OUT!
After the Lord spoke about repentance in Luke 13:1-5, He mentioned about the fruitless fig tree in verses :6-9-”6 Then He began telling them this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree that had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it, but did not find any; 7 so he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground [depleting the soil and blocking the sunlight]?’ 8 But he replied to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, [just] one more year until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; 9 and if it bears fruit after this, fine; but if not, cut it down.’” (NLT)
The fig tree had been given significant time to produce fruit. If the fig tree did not produce significant fruit after 3 years, it would be cut down. It’s time to make space on your land so that productivity can take place. A lot of you have been waiting for relationships to change or produce fruit, but there is no fruit. Some of you have stayed on a job, tolerated a family member or supervisor for years, but still there is no fruit.
This is a tree cutting and stump-removing season so we can build on the foundation God has for us!
Once again, relationships are very significant in this season. If you find yourself miserable, negative, unhappy, complaining, allowing abusive, unhealthy people around you, unmotivated, overindulging in the areas of the flesh, or lacking in vision, it’s time for a fast, to detox your soul and physical body, and to remove yourself to really seek God on direction.
Matthew 11:28-30-28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”(AMP)
God will bring clarity and wisdom as to who you should have around you. These people range from family members to co-workers. Let God reveal those people.
This is a very important building season. Heed to God’s instructions and discipline.
There are so many who are choosing to stay in the same messy, negative, and stagnant places. No matter how much you’ve explained to them, given them advice, wisdom, and help, they still choose to continue on the path they are going. Dead trees affect the growth in gardens.Even if a tree is cut down, it’s impossible to lay a solid, smooth foundation with stumps. Also, removing dead trees and stumps is costly. Having those types of relationships will cost you in the end. Be wise, let God be the tender of your garden, listen to His instructions and follow His discipline.
